Tip of the Week:
What do professional athletes in all sports do between training sessions? Rest! They rest hard. Eat, sleep, nap, feet up on the couch... you name it. What do amateur athletes do while not training? They stay busy. Yard work, two jobs, family commitments, dealing with annoying coworkers and stressful deadlines.

If you want to model your training after elite athlete's training, you will burn out. The body gets stronger while it rests. If you don't give your body time to relax, it will break down. If you have a busy life outside of training, schedule in some planned rest. Instead of rushing home from work, and then rushing out the door for a jog, try scheduling in a nap. Dream of all the PR's you'll be setting with your strong body!

Note to non elite triathletes - naps should be scheduled only after bidding on Frey's stuff on ebay!
